Man Shoots Eight People After Getting Kicked Out Of Nightclub

Authorities in Kansas are looking for a suspect who shot eight people at a nightclub in Witcha, Kansas, early Tuesday (September 7) morning. Police said that the man who has not been identified was upset after getting kicked out of the Enigma Club & Lounge.

He left the club but then returned with a gun around 12:30 a.m. and started shooting at patrons from the sidewalk. Officials said that one person, a 30-year-old man, was killed, while two others suffered life-threatening injuries. Three others sustained serious injuries, and two people suffered minor injuries. The victims have not been identified.

The shooter, who is believed to be in his 20s, fled the scene in a vehicle. Authorities have asked the public for help identifying the suspect and encouraged anybody with information to call 911 or Crime Stoppers.

Photos from the scene showed the two glass doors were completely shot out, and broken glass was strewn across the inside of the club.
