Nick Jonas has nothing but love for his fellow Disney Channel "graduating class" as their careers continue to flourish and garner praise.
While attending the Red Sea Film Festival on Thursday (December 12), the Jonas Brothers member spoke to Variety about his beginning with Disney and how it helped set him up for future success, per People. Jonas noted that it wasn't just him, either, shouting out fellow alums like Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and Wizards of Waverly Place actress Selena Gomez as well as Demi Lovato, who he starred alongside in the Camp Rock franchise.
"I absolutely look back at [Disney] as a creative school," he said. "It was also school, to be honest. I was between the ages of 14 and 18, which is my high school years. That graduating class of Miley, Selena and Demi, it was all of us coming up together and you can see, frankly, the length of our careers and the success we've all been able to have."
Jonas also reacted to the "tremendous" news that Gomez recently received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Emilia Pérez, relating it back to how the Disney Channel was able to "foster talent" of its young stars.
"I think that's a real testament to Disney's ability to find and foster talent," he said, "and understand what makes someone unique while finding a way to make it work within their ecosystem."
