Olivia Munn recently had a costar ask her to bite him "really hard" during a scene.
The star spoke with People during the premiere of her new Apple TV+ series, Your Friends & Neighbors, in New York City on Tuesday (April 8), revealing that actor John Hamm, who plays her love interest, Cooper, asked her to bite him "really hard" while they were filming an intimate scene.
"My character wants something more from Jon's character, but the only thing she's getting from him at this point is this sexual relationship....so it's really important that we really feel how much she's leaning on this and trying to really connect with him through these moments."
Munn praised her and Hamm's intimacy coordinator for helping elevate their steamy scenes and making their romantic connection seem more realistic and natural. The Newsroom actress was actually instructed to "bite" Hamm during one of their many sex scenes (per the script) and felt very timid about it until he reassured her.
"I was nervous, but he just kept saying, 'It's okay. Bite really hard.' And then I did. And he's a pretty tough guy. He's a very tough guy."
Your Friends and Neighbors is out Friday (April 11) on Apple TV+.
