Rumors have been ramping up that when iOS 16 is released later this year three iPhone models won’t be able to accept. That effectively makes the phones unable to use the latest and greatest features.
So if you have an iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, or the first generation iPhone SE you’ll want to make plans to upgrade. That’s if you aren’t okay with having what you’ve got now and being a little laggy.
The main reason is the storage needed for the new iOS. Older phones can’t handle it. Still, it’s not the end of the world, since you’ll still be able to use your older model; it’s just a matter of preference
